After some time of just staying in the background in an attempt to put in a good story for this new character, she makes the step into this world.

"Let me introduce myself ... I am ... well .. ehh ... the Sister of Florenence Exonar." she pauses "Yes, I know she is very different than I, although we did have the same parents. Still her life turned out quite differently, although she isn't here to correct me of course. She learned to be this Lady, as I was skilled in serving on my knees." she sighs making nervous gestures with her hands.

"I was brought into Laura as a slave and quickly released. Thankfully I met a very honourable man, who knew me from Port Kar, that I now may call my Companion. I am a bit shy, and at times restless. Untill this far my only talent is painting, but after a moment of total helplessness I turned to the Physician of Laura and hope to be accepted as a trainee."

She rests her head in her hands for a moment to think: "I hope that my time in Laura will be nice, peacefull and of course without kidnaps or beheadings. I like to be part of it actively and will do my upmost effort to be a real asset to Laura. I hope that I will have the chance to become just as attached to Laura as my sister was."

A re-birth as new character is a lot of fun and a good exercise for the mind as well. We as individuals are a lot more complex then any one entity can convey but not everyone can focus on and bring to the surface the change. I am always pleased to find those who can.

Funny, how the pasangs had a way of adding weight to the simple rence-paper scrolls crammed into the back of his travelling bag, even as it should have felt lighter as his ration of dried verr and bosk meat grew smaller with every passing day. He stared at his feet for a moment as the ferry gurgled its way across the river. The dull thump of it meeting the jetty prompting him to take his first step and survey the wooden battlements of the city before him.
“Laura,” he rasped. In that hoarse grunt were mingled a tapestry of emotions. Resignation lay next to determination, which was, in turn, kissing curiosity. He narrowed his eyes and found his hand drifting unconsciously to the pommel of his sword. His fingertips played over the worn leather wrappings on the grip, and he hunched his shoulders, moving toward the market place, and the promise of the forest, beyond.
The simple, unadorned tunic draped over his shoulders was belted with a broad strip of leather, upon which hung a wickedly-shaped sheath. The fabric of his clothing was worn and faded in places, and his high sandals were clearly worn, all clearly evidence of a life lived under the weather more than out of it. He studied the entrance to the city out of the corner of his eye, no obvious guardsmen or rarii present, but he shrugged. One need not easily see to be easily *seen*. Shouldering his way past a peasant woman, his feet carried him toward the bridge to a trading post where he swung the traveling bag off his shoulder. Leaning against a post, he let his eyes wander over to the village beyond the river. There was a well, he noted, a place to fill his waterskin. The heaviness of the morning haze was stirred only by the faintest of breezes, but even that gentle touch was enough to bring the smell of rich loam to his nose.
There were were urts within those woods, waiting for the snare, and possibly tarsk or, if he were lucky a tender-fleshed Tabuk to be taken with his bow, or a flint-headed spear.
He withdrew a strip of his carefully-measured ration of dried verr, and tore off a mouthful. He stood like that, unmoving for a long moment, watching the comings and goings of the occasional peasant or hunter as he slowly chewed the meat. He reached down to carefully weigh the small pouch at his belt and seemed to reach some decision. He would find a room at whatever passed for an inn in these parts, and take a stroll in the meadow.
There was a slight *clink* as if metal and glass had met for a moment as he hefted the shoulder bag once again, turning reluctantly from his view of the battered bridge and the village beyond. His business would not be finished here, simply by wishing it were so.
And this, he thinks to himself solemnly, is how Argent Asbrink...so very late of the arrogant cylinders and proud tarn cots of Thentis...comes to Laura to see what might be seen.

I am Mamuth Sirnah, originally a trader from the isle of Teletus. While trying to set up some trade in and around Laura, I lost myself in the Northern Woods and got captured by a huntress from the local tribe. At first I did not like being pulled away from the life I used to have, but now after being with the tribe for some 3 weeks I like the quiet life without the stress of trading, the accompanying paperwork and earning a good living.

Indeed, I was a captive and turned into a slave now. There of course is lots of work to be done every day, but life is good here (as long as I behave that is *smiles*). So far I have no complaints, I only wished my mistress, huntress Ronni, was in the camp more often.

Well, you might see me gathering wood for the campfires in the Northern Woods, and sometimes I wander off too far ending up in the WSI... but I am not supposed to go that far alone, so I have noticed (My legs still hurt 'huntress' Aisha)

Hmm what to tell in rl im 31 years old and from Denmark. I work as physical couch for a professional soccer team. My spare time i use with my 3 kids and 3 dogs. Kids takes time as most know and im working with my dogs at various training courses. Other than that i work about 10-15 hours pr week at a local animalshelter helping dogs there needing it one way or another.

Ive been in gor for just over 8 years now. First 5 years i spent in html gor as black caste.

I started out sl gor 3 years ago as first sword of Port Cos, later became admin there. Then i was pirate in the first laura, later admin there for the outpost. Then ive been ubar in Bila Haruma, high council member of Rovere, General of Avian, master of arms in Cardonicus. Pirate captain in Bila Haruma, and now master of arms in Laura.

So been around and seen many things over the years. I often get asked if that makes me feel better than most here, and the answer is simple not at all, probably quite opposite. I often judge quickly as ive seen to many asses around. I often let things go cause i cant be borthered dealing with them. But one thing you can be sure off is i dont hold grudges, my life is way to short for that.

My goal for joining Laura as Master of Arms is simple. I want all the warriors trained well enough so they can beat me in combat, that way i dont have to consider fighting much and can relax with my girls in the tavern or baths. Both of my girls ive owned for just over two years by now, and dont plan on changing that.

Welcome Ice. There has been bad blood between us in the past, which has lingered in our very infrequent dealings, for which I take part of the blame (forgetting past real or percieved injuries has never been my strongest point). The past is the past, however (and Mr. Goodman no longer supplies our combat meters and that other issue... Sam seems to have forgiven and forgotten about that long ago. I suppose I can and should as well). I know you are an able and knowledgable RP-er and will likely bring good RP to Laura and the sims around it. So, again, welcome.

Welcome to new members and re-born old farts. I am happy to see old differences put down and left behind and look forward to new and interesting RP based on the here and now... it is after all where we all live.
