Keiser Koba is a typical Northern kinda dude. He was born and raised far up North in Torvaldsland. But don't think he is your regular northern brute with his belove ax ready to chop your head off with the first excuse. He is no fighter, and ony carries his bow and sword for mere protection, and has not yet killed anything but game and a sleen now and then.

I am a scribe. A man of peace, and will try to solve any conflict with words instead of steel. In other words, my tounge and feet are faster then my weapons.

I was unlucky to loose both my parents at the age of three. Don't know anything about my mother, and all I know about my father is that he was a baker, and that my sword was the only thing left after him, and that sword came from his father again. Grew up in the kennel amongst the slaves. At the age of ten I was brought to the scribery where the scribe, a friendly old man, thaught me to read and write.

As a grown man, I left the village I grew up in, and seeked a new homestone first in Kassau, then Ice Inlet and Midgaard before finally coming to Laura, where I for the first time in a long long time feel at home, despite the cultural differences. (Man, do I miss the longhouses in the North, with proper seats and naked feisty sluts serving sitting on the table *grins*)

OOC I am 40, Norwegian, a lifestyle BDSM Dominant, have a good spouse, a 9 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. I run my own business as webdesigner slash communications consultant, and am way above average geeky when it comes to computers.

I have been in SL for a year, and in Gor since March. As many others I was very judgemental about Gor, basicly becasue I knew nothing about it. A place for weirdos and abusers. But OOC I met a sub that I collared, and she had over a years experience as gorean, and convinced me to give it a try. The rest is history. The girl I've lost, but Gor has won me, and I hardly leave gor at all now for other reasons then spending time on my private land where I am building myself a home fit for a gorean gentleman.

I can build and make clothings, tattoos and other stuff and am planning to put up a shop soon. I have no ambitions on making money on it, but if it can cover some off my expenses, I will be more then happy with that.

Long live Laura, and hope to see more Europeans in the fortcomming, it is a bit too quiet in my daytime, and I seem to miss most of the events and great happenings becuse of the American dominance.

I can't believe I didn't do this any earlier...but I'm Meku, I was taken by Donovan Harker as a slave after a 3 day cap ((oh my, I submitted after 7 months of being a panther, what???)) but now it's been technical abandonment so I'm in Verity's collar instead, and she has put me up for sale, since she and I manage to get in enough trouble together, I might as well wear her steel until I am sold.


RL??? I'm a 23 year old graduate student from the States, spending half my time in Denmark and the other half on the East Coast. I could go on, but no need.

I think the intriguing, well executed rp is what has kept me in Laura, on my knees, instead of running back to the woods, so I thank you all for that.

Known as Belladonna, slave to Captain Severus Koskinen so I BEHAVE!!!! and i strongly advice you to do the same whenever he is in eyesight...

I have been on sl Gor for a year and a half in all sorts of shapes and roles. Spent quite some time in Tarnburg, Treve, Midgaard and now Laura. As for the less serious Gor play Im quite familiar with outlaw world as well. Have a beautiful bow and katana but keep that hidden from Severus obviously.

The name is Liz, both rl as sl. I got stuck at age 29 and not attempting to get destuck.
I work for the Justice Department so highly experienced with cross interrogation both in sl as rl

Final note: Do not meddle in my affairs, for they are subtle and I will piss on your computer.

My twin was first born in SL about a year before I was in Gor (I know, a very long and disjointed pregnancy). Gor was for a while my TL (Third Life), now my twin hardly ever wakes up anymore....

I have lived in Heimdal, Telnus on Cos, Chiron and now Laura.

These relocations were triggered by my training as a Physician AND finding a Sim alive when I am able to be here (Timezone: GMT 10).
Well one thing about Laura .....it is ALIVE!!!....... my first 4 visits did not result in a city tour....but ended up in the infirmary each time.

OOC: I have lived almost as long in Australia as in my native Nederland. Living in Australia means I can really be here only when the USA is asleep. Time zone wise it sure helps to find some some other Australians and Europeans in Laura. I am older than most here and work in Health specialising in what affliction Bill Gates reportedly has.

It seems lately that my RL is annoyingly cutting into my SL more ....I will soon have to make a decission which one is my FL


I speak a few languages and a few words in a few more so if you need a quick translation ...let me know...

Ahhhh yes... Dren, a most welcome addition to Laura and here on the boards also.

The first time I met him, he was keeping me from bleeding to death from a Panther arrow stuck in my lower back on an exam table that would only allow me to lay on my back, quite a trick really but he managed and I am here because of it. Great to have you in both places Dren and again, Welcome!!!

Well, these USA-people may mostly be asleep when you are online, but you living down under and me living in The Netherlands really see each other a lot, and I love it... I think we both are the 'old guys' looking at our RL-ages, but those girls in Laura won't notice because of our superbe young looking AV's

Let's just stick to that saying "If it aint Dutch, it aint much"

I am "ashia", sole kajira of Ssani Ansaldo and happily so. I came to Gor to see why it had such a bad reputation in the earth worlds of SL. I watched and listened and thought everyone was over the top and left. Two months later (was it even that long?), I returned and have not left. To be a slave was an experiment, although I find now that it answers a deep longing within me that I have not addressed in real life. My sl revolves around my Master, whom I love dearly, and Laura. What else is there? I truly find Gor fascinating and strive to live here as best as I can and as close to the "real deal" as possible. I have just started Book 10 in the Gor series. And I have to say, I've enjoyed them although John Norman gets a little too detailed in some of his descriptions (i.e. the descriptions of the boats in Book 6 - Raiders), but I'm sure someone finds them interesting and useful.

In real life? I'm a busy woman with many interests and responsibilities. I love music and art and gardening. I find the ocean vast and wondrous and wild and the forests calming and lush and a place where you can find yourself. I love the rivers and their power. I love my home.

I am a perpetual 29, I just have experience, but sometimes I feel as if I'm just 22 again, but with more wisdom than I had at that age. I enjoy Rascal Flatts on the one hand and Opera on the other, and my current favorite album is "Music of the Spheres" by Mike Oldfield. I also love John Denver and Abba, what can I say??

I can be a bit shy and hide sometimes cause I don't know what to say, but I'm a good friend once the ice is broken. I love to laugh and talk and explore, but I also tend to be a bit sensitive about things and try to temper that and not take things personally. (Severus almost made me cry!!....but I got over it!

I love second life for the interraction with people from all over the world. Being able to discuss politics with someone from the Netherlands or Spain or Japan is amazing. I love it that the world has become so small that I can say I have friends from all over the world. What a fabulous place this second life!

I do find though, that my first life encroaches more than I want sometimes..... But we try to find the balance somewhere.

Oh...and I love driving like Mario Andretti....grins....*coughs* the most recent state trooper I met though was very kind.....

Can't wait to meet you all! Thanks for sharing my world and allowing me in yours!

Elovar had to be put on ice for a few days while his Brother (Fuzsea Lime) used the time to do some building for the new residential sim now attached on the south side of Laura. Nothings in place really as of this writing but it wont be long now that a style, size and configuration have been established.

I'm Orvelle of Laura, commonly known and called O, Commander of the Scarlet in Laura, which is my homestone and where you all can find me out in Gor. Hello Everyone !

I am Floren ... or when I don't like you to much or just didn't meet you very often still Lady Florenence.

Not much to tell about RL cause I have none Just that I am not English and my language can have it's moments of dispare.

My character is build based on many hours of study and making her a scribe was just a sort of natural cause. Floren is a woman that knows her place, but still can find herself in difficult situations.

She loves to hear the latests news, has many of the slaves as informants and is therefor mostly very nice to them. She can be very sharp at times and has a great sense of humor (I hope ... )

She loves Laura and many of the citizens there ... her heart goes out to some special ones and she almost would do anything for them to be of help.

She doesn't bite ... but does tell !

Eeeps, there I go slacking again!! Thanks for making with the welcome Gavin, my time in SL has been a bit short lately as my brother Fuz has been hogging all the hours to do his building and such but that is winding down so I hope to be around a lot more then I have been.

Well, I guess it's time to crawl out from under this here rock and give myself a proper introduction.

I was actually away from SL for about a rl year because I would try to log in to the community and my pc said, "Uh, do what?" Anyway, now I have a computer that doesn't sweat when SL is booting up, so here I am...

I've played a slave under an alt, which is why I'm SO happy to be a Free Woman now. Being a slave is by no means easy, but being a Free Woman is much more difficult in my opinion... and I really crave the intellectual stimulation that comes from walking that thin line between steel and sky. But... having been away for nearly a year, I didn't really consider much of a backstory for Elise, so she's working out a LOT of details in Laura now - so rp's gonna be fun in the next few months. I've actually been in SL Gor for a couple of years, and I own most of the books, so I'm trying to brush up some on Gorean practice and tradition. Speaking of practice, Elise is an apprentice for the Physician's Caste. She's outspoken, but again, she tries to temper that with respect and deference, always recognizing that her freedom is not a guarantee.

OOCly - I'm a real estate agent... yeah, I know... great time to sell houses. *laughs* The GREAT thing is that if I need to be online, say to examine slaves or to whip a Warrior into shape... I'm somewhat flexible on time! I live in the deep South, hence the accent, so don't be surprised if you catch a "y'all" in the forums... though I will restrain Elise from uttering such. Anyway, enough babbling... Well met!

I love the variety of persona that we all bring here, I think in part, at least a portion of the reason that the City of Laura just works so well is that very thing. All of you are the spice that flavors the RP and I for one truly am well pleased to have all of you here
