Tales of Laura contest

The City of Laura is holding its first ever "Tales of Laura" writing contest! This contest is open to all Goreans, not just Lauran citizens. First place will receive 5000L$ in prize money, with 2500l$ for second, and 1000$L for third. All stories must be set in Laura or the surrounding woods, and must be between 2000 and 5000 words. Turn your completed stories in to Markos Binder by the deadline of 11:59pm, Friday August 15th. Good Luck!

3) All entries must be received by 11:59pm, Friday, August 15th.

4) All entries should be sent to Markos Binder by the deadline above

5) All entries will be judged by a panel of three, who will choose the winner, runner up, and third place story

/me wonders who all is writing a story

I have one story turned in already, it only took someone like 2 days to churn one out. I haven't taken a look at it yet, i will wait til the deadline to read them all. I think Gavin was going to?

Well ... *sighs* ... i am trying ... did several try outs allready that turned into garbage. But Yes i hope to be able to write a story, hoping it will be in something like readable English.

Yeah !! After more than 8 hours of work ... i finaly finished the story ... now just to find some courage to send it in ...

First off all I would like to thank for the wonderfull prize.

I was asked and honestly I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't, just because writing a story with more than 2000 words in English seemed to complicated to me. Still I did it and I must give my owner some credit too. He helped me with the English and encouraged me to continue.

Thank you again for rewarding my story ... and when someone wants to read it ... you have my blessing and my wishes for good reading.
