Laura Night Infirmary opening

I get up at 4 AM, (read I enter Laura) as mostly Europeans and Australians/New Zealanders are awake, but I am lost for RP.

I want to set up a night clinic in Laura for more than just our citizens who are awake then. And hopefully too some of our visitors like to stay when they visit us.

Who can help me with ideas or offers of presence?

I have two Physicians Lady Aisha and myself

I need slaves to assist in the infirmary and serve the visitors needs and warriors to vet the visitors and collar any collarable slaves drifting in by themselves.

Give my your ideas, if enough support I will advertise on the Gor forum and in the hub.

Izzat 4am SL time Dren? If so, I could participate, but I think my boss would frown on me signing in to SL on the company computer during work hours. Just sayin'.

I think it is a good plan though, I hope we can get some folks interested.

Well Markos, that is why I got myself a laptop with Wireless broadband, bypassing all corporate filters so I can actualy see some of you when Laura is awake.

Yesterday, I was at the hub at 5 AM and got two requests for medical services! So I think there maybe something in this proposal.

So any other euros or anzacs wanting to think with me?

Although us opposite hours people can't be there to help, let me know how else I can help. Want to send notices to advertise the "night clinic?" whatever else it takes.
I think it would be great for Laura, and those with non american time zones to get more RP and to "know" someone will be there, not just Lauran's but everyone else too.

Laura Night Clinic Group, Initial meeting.

Present: Dren Bernard, acting Chief Physician, lady Aisha, Physician, lady Anya, apprentice Physician, Lady Maeve, scribe and prospective Laura citizen and six, or Ystar or Bluey .. kajira

Opening by Dren explaining the concept:

Aim:
1. For Euros/aussies/NZ to enjoy RP in Laura when most of the Americas is asleep
2. have outsiders come to Laura for RP and entice some to stay increasing numbers for RP at that time

How: use infirmary and medical RP as vehicle/ storyline

It was suggested by Dren Bernard that the following be actioned:

1. Seek assistance from Laura red caste to stand by and vet visitors: Lady Anya suggested Krist might be willing to help. (Dren to discuss with Gavin )
2. Recruit more slaves for serving, reception and general clinic duties
3. Discuss with Lady Arabella, posibility of RPing offering lodgings to travellers (Ystar)

An open discussion re merits of medical assistance of vulo messengers resulted in accepting to at all times "Laura sim rules rule"; so no! Likewise: No femlaws, and Panthers only when robed.

Concerns raised included:
Undesirable traffic in conflict with Sim rules
Undesirable traffic in accordance with Sim rules.


Clinic details confirmed:
Starting time 5am.
Close of clinic 7am (pending rp and time constraints)
Clinic staffing is flexible due to RL and time zone restrictions.
Suggested start with Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays

All to meet Wednesday at 5am to discuss suitable RP routines.

Sounds like the meeting went well and some wonderful ideas were presented. I am in America but I play late (12:30 am until about 3am eastern standard time) I would like to do rp with a physician and it will be not too lengthy but will go over a period of time. Dren when can we send out notices about this?

I'm super excited about this idea, not just for Laura, but for you citizens who don't get as much interaction as perhaps those on other time zones.

Also - I also hear from Euros in other places looking for RP with others of same time and would LOVE to tell them there is guaranteed RP in Laura during certain times, perhaps they would just visit, or perhaps settle down, either way it's win win for everyone.

Can we post on forums? Add to Website? Send out notices?
LOL! I'm addicted to chocolate covered expresso beans right now so I apologize, but I'm anxious to get word out there about your plan, I love it.

/me will visit Laura soon to see if people are interested in the fish he wants to trade and I also will bring my new slave along for her medical exam and slavewine. The Laura Night Infirmary indeed is a great idea for non-US citizens.

May be I could even dig up a small crate of blackwine beans, as I have heard the night physician is having a hard time getting his favourite drink now
