I want to throw out some thanks to Teagan, whose roleplay yesterday both impressed me and reminded me how much fun Gor can be!

She's brand-new to Gor, playing a FW, and said in front of Hax and Gavin that she hailed from Earth. Aria dragged her off into relative privacy and in the few spare minutes she had before Gavin followed, hissed instructions to her, then did a little creative soft-shoe to explain away her faux pas to the suspicious First Sword. Teagan did wonderfully! She went along with my manhandling her, didn't fall apart when Gavin manhandled her (LOL poor girl!), picked up on the cues I was sending, quickly manipulated her story to get herself out of hot water, and then worked with me to find a BTB, plausible explanation for those events and even give herself a rough backstory. I wish every newbie that came to Gor was such a quick study!!

So thanks, Teagan, for being an exceptional example of how much fun it is to branch out and roleplay with strangers!

I like to say thanks to some people that were very worried when they noticed me in the residential area of Laura. News travels fast so I won't explain it just find out IC ... but thank you:

** Lola, Arthor, AcaciaSage and Elgin **

for your care and for the help you gave me to make the final decision.

As some of you know, I left Laura and Gor for a while. I need that break, because my onlinetime is too short at the moment for pleasing roleplay.

So I want to thank everybody, who made me feeling home in Laura.
I hope I will be able to return one day.

I wish all of you peaceful holidays... and all the best for 2009!

I wish you all a Merry Christmas & a wonderful, exciting and a Good New Year !!

Aisha / Karlotte

I want to give a big thank you to someone that has surprised me greatly recently. Someone that scared the hell out of me when I was first learning my role as a FW, and who still to this day can keep me more on my toes than anyone I've yet met. I've had some intense RP while living in Laura, some of the most intense the last couple weeks or so. Not only is our RP intense, it leads me to other RP's that keep my heart racing and me sitting on the edge of my seating dying to know what happens next.

For all you've done for me recently, and the striking new dimension you've brought out in Sage, and in me, I have to say thank you to WhenHeFalleth Hax.

I wanna bring a special thanks to Arthor and Tristan who has done an awesome job looking after the city lately. They have handled issues flawless and made my job easy.

Arthor with his way of spotting trouble before it even starts and handle things before they even become an issue, that takes both skills and insight in phychology. Real well done Arthor.

Tristan with his way of reporting everything small or big, gives me a nice overview of what has happened regarding the red caste when ive been offline for a while. Ive worked with many people over time and very few of the were as thorough as Tristan.

So a big thanks to you both for making Laura a safer place for the citizens and a big thanks for making my life a lot easier the last days.

A big thank you to Aisha for words of wisdom and comfort as I faced one of those dark nights of the soul that comes to every kajira once and awhile who truly loves her Master and has to face the utter insecurity of her position.

The morning dawned with a brighter sun but Aisha got me through a long night of tears.

PostSubject: I want to thank...   Thu Jan 08, 2009 1:46 pm

I want to thank everyone in Laura who has put up with me over the past few months while I try to figure out what the heck I’m doing, especially those that initiated RP with me when I was so uncomfortable, and those that helped OOC’ly. You’ve all become like my big, albeit slightly dysfunctional and somewhat incestuous, family. Laughing Razz

Special thanks to Sage, Plat, Gavin, etana and Dren I wouldn’t have lasted this long without them. Thanks to Cortez who makes me laugh so much I forget to be nervous. Also big shout out to Elise who was part of my best night in Laura and the best RP I’ve ever seen. I love you

I want to thank the academy, my parents, Linden Labs, John Norman…

/me looks down at the ground for long moments, struggling to find the words that ache to be said. Looking up slowly she takes in a deep breath and says in a voice full of humility, gratitude, and affection "Thank you, Elgin."

I want to say thanks to all people that attended the FC-ceremony of Ayla and me yesterday !

At the same time I have to apologize to some people that wanted to join us, but were not allowed because the residential area is an open sim with a maximum capacity of 20 people Sad

Nevertheless, it was a beautiful ceremony that both Ayla and I enjoyed very much!

Special thanks to Vienna, Ice, Aisha and Dren who helped to make this day unforgettable.

I want to thank everyone that came out for the Home Stone pledge for new Citizens and the new Warriors.

This is a deciding moment and deeply personal to many people and having the current Citizens and Warriors present validates it all, demonstrates the bond we speak of and gives a much needed reality to our City.

Laura has a Home Stone.....

Long live Laura!! cheers

Agreed. Although slaves don't technically have a Home Stone, I found the ceremonies more moving than I had expected. Well done everyone who helped organize this, participated in this, and attended.
