My name is AlexandraSophia Umarov..The name may sound foreign but I am from the US.. I just thought it had a pleasing ring to it.

I am a RL submissive, and have participated as such in several relationships of that sort in the New England scene. Do not be fooled I have a very strong side that will make you believe I am dominant.. I have had my own company for well over 15 years now. I have a single child, my son Doug, who has just arrived in Afghanistan, and is stationed in a tiny outpost protecting that f-cking pass that the supplies must pass through. As you can probably hear in my voice, I am very emotional these days.. as I am powerless to protect him from here, and my anxiety is showing up in my rp. I apologize now to any who are or do get affected by this.

In game, I have pledged my life and loyalty to Laura and have been here for some time. Now I have a baby to raise ((for those who do not know he was given to *us* by a panther girl)) and am driven to seek a companion to provide a stable life for the babe, if one does not come along I will be taking a trip home to the wagon people, to at least be able to raise him with close male role models. Perhaps there I might find a suitable companion.

/pokes her head in - Hi everyone, I am Oleander, one of the newer citizens in Laura. You'll find me the square beside the library as your newly appointed seamstress.

Oleander is a young woman recently bereaved by the sudden death of her companion, she is an earnest hardworker who speaks plainly and cannot tell a lie, although, she will refrain from mentioning things that she thinks others are better off not knowing. Raised as the only girl in a household with two older brothers, she is a good sport and is quite tolerant of men's procilivities, shall we say. She's never one to be bothered with slaves, and usually doesn't even acknowledge their existence, considering them more or less part of the scenery. Neither she nor her companion kept slaves in their household, preferring a simple, quiet life of comfortable companionship.

As for Oleander's typist - I am 26 and living and loving in Ontario, Canada. I am employed as Risk Analysist for one of the banks here. I am a pretty simple girl myself, I enjoy good books, good friends and good wine. I discovered Gor in an University Social Sciences class, and found myself immediately drawn to it, I had no idea that SL Gor (or in truth even SL itself) existed until about a month ago, so I spent some time doing my research, stalking the boards (I know *all* your secrets...lol... just kidding) and it wasn't until a few days ago that I plucked up the courage and dipped my toes in. I based my character alot on my own personality and background, I was raised in an all male household as well with my dad and brothers, I spent the majority of my childhood with Indian burns and black eyes lovingly gifted to me while roughhousing with my brothers. I also enjoyed poking dead things with sticks, but that's another story.

I chose Laura for the challenge of learning great roleplay and I am very much looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome to the frey Oleander!! My Brother Fuzsea (my alt) and his kijira run the Merchants shop next door to yours though he is away a bit right now with the start of the Trade season and all but expect a visit from him and his girl when ever his ship is back in port.

I'm Sabina - the newly appointed Praetor of Laura.
There was some confusion in the past, but I want to make it really clear that the title Praetor just means I am a scribe of the law. Praetors in the books settled disputes, wrote contracts, issued warrants, gave judgment on crimes, etc. It's basically a magistrate - except magistrates did the dirty work like checking women for brands and executions - something a free woman would not do.

I am not an admin. I don't want to be an admin, you couldn't pay me to be an admin.

I've been a member of the SL Gor community for 3 years now. I started in Turia, eventually moved to Thentis where I worked as a scribe. After that I moved to the old Venna, and then pulled out as a roleplaying entity to start a business (Elements - then known as Tribal Bitch Creations) and to help some friends open the original Isle of Cos, which was only a battleground. The whole sim was open for wars, or even capture the flag games. We even had a scoring system for red and blue teams.. it was a blast!
Unfortunately it didn't last long, and I moved back into roleplay by becoming a partner in the sim Isle of Tabor (the original one, not the gay-gor sim that came later) We had that sim for a while, until the other two partners decided they wished to turn the sim into rental lands.. I sold my share and moved to Laura, the outpost (The one done by Grace Loudon). I stayed with the old Laura until it closed, and eventually made my way to Treve. After starting my second panther tribe in SL there, I was asked to buy a share of the sim with Theodoric Delphis and Rask Hammerer. Most who know Sabina in RP knew her as the Ubara of Treve (aka Helen of Treve) the imperious woman who started wars on accident.
Rask wished to take Treve in another direction, and bought out our shares, so Theodoric and I went and started Tyros. The same Tyros you see today. We ruled there as Ubar and Ubara again, until after a death in the family, I took about six months off of SL.
I came back as Adamark was starting Ti in the Salerian Confederation. I liked the direction he was taking it, and worked as the head scribe there. When Ti was sold to a new person, I pulled Sabina out of roleplay for a while and have just recently come back.
She is now companioned to Markos, who she will often comment and say that he tricked her into it, or that she can't stand to be around him.
No, I did not just companion him for his title. I would have run off with that man to be a lamplighter. He is an amazing roleplayer, and never ceases to surprise me. I think he's the only person who can actually keep Sabi in check. LOL.
OOCly, he makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

There is a lot more to the story, but you'll just have to rp with Sabi to find out

OOC - I am 26, single, I have a cat. I live in Oakland, California right now, but I will be moving to Illinois in a few days. I am a veteran of the US Army, and damn proud of it.

To be clear, I do have an alt. I roleplay as one of the panthers of Tarna. I have been a member of the Tarna -ta-torvis since it's rebirth, and I do keep the characters *very* separate. Anyone who has met both Esther and Sabi in roleplay know that the two are nothing alike. I know some people dislike alts, and I understand the reasons behind it, but I give you my word I'm not using alts for nefarious purposes. Esther is mostly my character to get away from things with. I still run a business on Sabi, and it's not always easy to roleplay when I have a thousand ims going.
